As a football enthusiast, I enjoy watching matches whenever I can, most importantly when I know the club I support is performing well. My favorite past time is playing PS4 with my son. We have a history of both winning and losing, and I must humbly admit that he has more wins than I do.
In football, I believe the most crucial time is half time. You have fifteen minutes break to maintain your lead if you’re winning, turn things around if you’re losing, or strategize to win if the score is tied.
As a football team, you can find yourself in one of three scenarios at half-time: winning, losing, or tied. If the score is tied, you must strive to secure a win.
How does this analogy apply to us? In a few days, we would get into the second half of the year. I believe in these final days of June, we should take a half time break to thoroughly analyze the past six months of the year.
If we have been experiencing some successes in certain areas of our lives, we should consolidate and advance further. If we feel like we are facing losses, we need to buckle up and give our best in the next six months. If you feel stagnant, it’s time to make some progress.
No matter the circumstances or your current situation, it would be highly beneficial to reflect, review, and implement specific actions that can lead you to victory.
I have witness teams emerging from halftime transformed, and motivated, shifting from losing positions to winning ones. There’s no need to accept defeat when victory is within reach.
I call you blessed
