“I will invite you”… what this short phrase has done to ministers and ministries you wouldn’t believe .

Never promise a ministerial invitation out of emotional experience or of the excitement of meeting someone in a gathering.

I travel quite a bit, I have heard this phrase several times from a good number of people and you will realise they don’t mean it. Not just to me but to others in my presence. Then I would ask them, “what of that brother have you preached for him yet?” And the answer is usually, “I have not heard from him,” but this isn’t applicable to all cases.

A minister’s word should be his bond.
Your word should be Yes or No!..

Next time before you say “I will invite you” , think through it, pray through it and be sure it is something you really want to do.

Do not make vain promises as this makes you a liar. Keep your words.
