Excuses Limit your growth in ministry.

In life, no one achieves anything significant without having to deal with excuses. The call to the ministry is no different. Once you accept any form of excuse in ministry, you automatically set a limit on your growth in ministry. No sustainable progress is achieved in any field of endeavor without requiring the individual involved to surmount some form of obstacles.

Some common excuses people give in the ministry are as follows:

  1. Location
  2. Insufficient Money
  3. Lack of committed workers

These three excuses are common among many emerging ministers. You can either decide to allow any of these hold you back from fulfilling God’s call on your life or you can decide to surmount these obstacles and ensure you fulfill the call of God for your life.

You need to realize and accept these truths, there is no perfect location for ministry. If you can find people situated in a location, residential or industrial, God’s work can be carried out there. Similarly, if the appropriate principles of wisdom in finances are applied, the assurance of divine provision for ministry is guaranteed.  And in relation to the workforce for the ministry, there is not one church I know of that started out with 100% committed workers. The solution to this is to train the people you have until they catch your spirit and the vision of the house.

For every excuse, there is an equivalent solution. Do not allow any excuse limit the growth of your ministry.
