As usual the year runs fast, with 4 months left to the end of this year. The challenge however is this, many people refuse to be the pilot of the year even though God has given them all that is required for them to excel and make the most of the year.
In speaking to the saints in Ephesus, Paul say’s “making the very most of your time [on earth, recognizing and taking advantage of each opportunity and using it with wisdom and diligence], because the days are [filled with] evil” Ephesians 5:16 (Amp).
A few days ago, I was reading an article and came across this phrase by A.W Tozer, “if we kill time, we must know that we cannot resurrect it”. That was the same thing Paul was referring to. In making the most of our time here on earth and also maximizing the remaining 4 months of this year ahead, we must recognize and take advantage of each opportunity by the application of two things; firstly, wisdom and secondly diligence.
If you are not wise and you are not diligent, you will never make the most of time even if you lived up to 100 years old.
Take some time out to strategically plan how you would spend the remaining four months of this year to ensure you make the most of this year and enable you recover any lost grounds. In Four months, with God, the application of wisdom and a heart to be diligent, you have enough to make the most of the rest of this year.
I wish you the best and a grand entry into the year ahead.
